For schools, community schools & youth programs

After-school movement and dance

that ends with every child on stage.

ENIGMEL designs and runs structured movement and dance enrichment for elementary and middle schools, community schools, and out-of-school-time programs. Bilingual instruction in English and Spanish. All equipment supplied. Sessions follow a fixed arc — community circle, warm-up, skill block, reflection — and each term ends with a performance every student takes part in. ENIGMEL has served as a contracted movement and enrichment provider for Prince George's County Public Schools.

Track record

One completed district contract.

Told exactly as it happened.

From September 2025 through June 2026, under a consultant agreement with Prince George's County Public Schools, ENIGMEL designed and delivered the Movement & Community Enrichment Program for elementary students at Langley Park–McCormick Elementary School in Hyattsville, Maryland. Twice-weekly after-school sessions, in multi-week blocks, each building toward a student showcase for school staff. Dance skills alongside body awareness, personal space, self-esteem, and healthy-habit building. Bilingual instruction, with parent communication and consent forms in Spanish and English. All equipment, props, program shirts, snacks, and attendance reporting supplied by ENIGMEL. The contract term ended June 30, 2026.

Each block closed with a routine the students built together, piece by piece, and performed for school staff. Every child took part — including the ones who hung back in week one. For many of them it was the first time they had stood up and performed anything.

Programs

Three pillars. One session arc.

Strength & Movement Circuits

Age-appropriate bodyweight training plus relays, obstacle courses, and team challenges that reward effort over ability — and give students a natural way to work together.

  • Bodyweight strength & conditioning

  • Relays, obstacle courses & team games

  • Coordination, balance & agility

  • Physical-wellness goals your school already tracks

Movement through Dance

Dance sessions that build physical literacy, brain–body connection, and appreciation for a range of cultures — each block leading to a performance.

  • Technique, choreography, showcase

  • Bilingual instruction, English & Spanish

  • Body awareness, personal space & consent

  • Culminating performance every term

Power Circles & Reflection

Guided group reflection that opens and closes every session — students name frustrations, celebrate effort, express themselves, and shout out peers. Belonging, built into the schedule.

  • Community circle to open

  • Cool-down & reflection to close

  • Predictable arc every session

  • Homework help, available as an add-on

Start with your students, not our list

Three pillars are a starting vocabulary.

Your school's sweet spot is the work.

Every school's sweet spot is different. In Langley Park it was a dance block with bilingual cues and a showcase for staff on the last day. In another building it's a sports-focused block with a workout every session, or a movement-and-reflection block for a grade that needs to decompress before homework. Your school's needs already say a lot about which one it is; the demo session says the rest.

So don't pick from a menu. Tell us about your students, your space, your schedule, and what your program needs to show. We'll co-create the block with your coordinator, run a demo session, and build it around what your students actually showed up for.

Included in every school program

All equipment & materials

Exercise bands, props, and program materials — supplied, transported, and sanitized by ENIGMEL at no additional cost. Program shirts and a healthy snack each session are available.

Trained instructors & backup coverage

Instructors trained on the ENIGMEL session structure, with staffing coordination and contingency coverage so a session never falls through.

Flexible terms

4-, 6-, 8-, or 16-week blocks; once or twice a week; before-school, after-school, or in-school residency; sized to a single grade or a whole program. Homework help can be added to any session.

Family communication & reporting

Consent forms and parent communication in English and Spanish, attendance tracking, and reporting mapped to your program's data system.

Only about one child in five gets an hour of real movement a day, and homework still has to get done — the after-school block is where a school can do both, if someone reliable runs it. That's what we bring into your building: movement that ends with every child performing, and homework help when you want it.
